Work remains to be done on Quarry Hill Road

The Quarry Hill road project is finished—mostly.

County Engineer Lee Bjerke says one part of the project remains to be completed.  Century Telephone has promised to remove telephone poles along the road, but there's been a hang-up in getting corporate approval for the removal.  County crews do not want to tackle the removal because they need to be assured the phone lines are dead.  Local Century Telephone crews are ready to do the project, but they need approval from headquarters first.
