This year's work on North Winn Road could wrap up on Friday

The reconstruction of North Winn Road is continuing, but crews might end this year's construction by the end of this week.

County Engineer Lee Bjerke says crews are working to install a pipe under North Winn Road just south of Fox Hollow.  It's the only place on the road that is currently closed to traffic, although there are a few places with a one-lane roadway.

Bjerke says the work south of Fox Hollow could wrap up by the end of the week.

Meanwhile, plans for the paving of North Winn Road next year have been submitted to the Iowa Department of Transportation.
