Postville couple donates land to Winneshiek County Conservation

Robert and Blanca Schroeder of Postville have donated a 9.62-acre wooded parcel to the Winneshiek County Conservation Board.
 
Willard's Woods, named in honor of Robert's father, is located between Castalia and Postville along 107th Avenue.
 
Per donor request, the area will be managed as a wildlife preserve with no hunting, but will be open to the public for activities like birdwatching, wildlife viewing, and hiking.
