City council member Charles Lore resigns

The next time the Decorah City Council meets, Johanna Bergan could very well be the 5th Ward representative.

Monday night 5th Ward city council member Charles Lore said he is resigning to allow Bergan to get to work immediately.  Lore lost this month's city council election to Bergan.

In a farewell message to the city council, Lore praised the quality of city employees, saying, "My greatest joy has been talking to these city employees."

Lore had served four years on the Decorah City Council.
