New nurse practitioner begins working at Winneshiek Medical Center

A new nurse practitioner has begun working at Winneshiek Medical Center.

Carol Ludeking received her Bachelor of Arts in Nursing from Luther College and her Doctor of Nursing, Family Nurse Practitioner certification, from Clarke University in Dubuque.  She has experience in providing family medicine and acute care, and most recently, worked at Mayo Clinic in Rochester.

Carol says she chose to remain with Mayo Clinic Health System and the Decorah area, "I've always wanted to provide health care in a rural setting and when this position was posted, I felt like it would be the perfect fit."
