Winneshiek County Convention and Visitors Bureau still looking for a director

The Winneshiek County Convention and Visitors Bureau board is going to take a little bit of time before hiring a new Tourism Director.

Previous Director Charlene Corson Selbee's last day on her job October 30th.  She had joined WCCVB as Director in May of 2014.

WCCVB board members say they'd like to get the next director to travel more within Winneshiek County, visiting and contacting tourism businesses.  The WCCVB has cancelled its office space lease with the Decorah Area Chamber of Commerce, however, the Chamber has taken over the job of distributing tourism brochures.
