Carrie Lee students spread good news and kindness through "Kindness Rocks" project

Posted: Tue, Nov 14, 2017 11:05 AM

Carrie Lee students have been hard at work to spread good news and kindness to others.  Students are currently working on a project called "Kindness Rocks".  Students decorate rocks and write kind sayings on them for others to read.  These rocks will be put in a rock garden outside of Carrie Lee in the spring.

Carrie Lee students would like to invite anyone interested to help add to their rock collection.  Take a moment to find a smooth rock, decorate and paint it, and write a kind saying on it. The rocks can be dropped off in the Carrie Lee office and will be added to the collection over the fall and winter. The rocks will be displayed indoors over the winter and moved to a special location outside of the school in the spring.

Students are also looking for donations of flat or smooth rocks for students to paint. Rock donations can be brought to the Carrie Lee office.
