Decorah's Josey Jewell is no longer Mayor of Iowa City

Who's the mayor of Iowa City?  Starting back on September 21st, Wikipedia's page on Iowa City listed the mayor as none other than Decorah's Josey Jewell. 

Wikipedia, of course, allows any reader to edit their pages.  An article recently in the Iowa Press Citizen (http://www.press-citizen.com/story/entertainment/2017/11/08/iowa-football-star-josey-jewell-has-been-mayor-iowa-city-wikipedia-says/844315001/) suggested that some Iowa City residents used that feature to change the previous posting about Iowa City--which listed the actual mayor of Iowa City--to a posting that named Jewell.

Suspiciously, the posting occurred just after Jewell had 15 tackles and one interception in Iowa's game against Penn State.

The senior linebacker has been making a name for himself with his play for the Iowa Hawkeye football team.  Unfortunately, he won't be able to call himself "Mayor Josey" any longer--Wikipedia corrected their posting shortly after the article appeared in the Iowa City newspaper.
