Reservations are being taken for an electric vehicle charging solutions seminar

Alliant Energy and the Iowa Economic Development Authority have begun taking registrations for a "Lunch and Learn" event from 12:15 p.m. until 1:30 p.m. on Monday, November 13th, at the Decorah Public Library.

The program will discuss the basics of electric vehicle charging stations: the equipment, how it works, installation and options to choose from.  It will also discuss future charging locations and how funding from the settlement with Volkswagen could possibly help pay for new charging stations.

Decorah Chevrolet will have an electric vehicle at the event. Lunch will be provided.
