Pickup/deer accident causes $6,000 in damages

It's getting to be that time of year. Decorah Police report a truck/deer accident on Highway 52 on Friday night around 7:15.

28-year-old Andrew Garten of Minneapolis was southbound on Highway 52 near Pole Line Road when a deer entered the roadway and Garten hit the deer with his truck. Garten was not injured, but his pickup suffered $6,000 in damages.
