Groundbreaking held for the Spectrum Network's new kitchen

The Spectrum Network held a ground breaking ceremony on Monday morning for the new Spectrum kitchen.

The new building will be constructed on property already owned by The Spectrum Network on Railroad Street, located behind the Mediacom building.  

Spectrum's initial focus with the new facility will be on processing and packaging for local businesses.

The Spectrum Network has raised $105,000 in local donations in order to receive matching funds from a Rural Business Enterprise Grant with the USDA.

Although the initial fundraising goal has been reached, donations are still being accepted for the project.  Send donations to The Spectrum Network, PO Box 22, Decorah, Iowa, 52101, or by drop them off at The Spectrum Network located at 607 Washington St. in Decorah.
