Northeast Iowa Community College has announced the names of three people who will be sworn into the NICC Hall of Fame in Calmar on November 6th.
The 2017 Calmar inductees are Karl Jacobsen , Thomas Barnes and David Hemesath.
Jacobsen graduated in 1976 with an NICC Practical Nursing degree and in 1977 with an Associate Degree Nursing. He is the owner and founder of Jacobsen Complete and has spent his career in nursing, long term care, insurance and finance.
Barnes graduated in 1971 with an NICC Building Materials Management degree. He is the first vice president of sales and estimating for Cresco Building Service.
Hemesath graduated in 1979 with an NICC Agri Business degree. He is the general manager of Farmers Union Co-op.
On November 6th NICC will also honor Anthony Tremmel, a Writing Center Instructor at the Calmar campus from 1998-2012, with the Outstanding Retiree Award.
