Decorah's Fairfield Inn & Suites to hold grand opening celebration at the end of October

Rebound Hospitality says it will hold a grand opening celebration for its new Fairfield Inn & Suites in Decorah from noon until 1:30 p.m. on Friday, October 27th.

A casual outdoor lunch will be served from 12-1 pm with a short program to follow. Attendees will have the opportunity to take self-guided tours of the common areas and selected rooms.

Marriott International CEO Arne Sorenson will be attending the event. He is a graduate of Luther College where he now serves on the Board of Regents. His wife Ruth (Christenson) Sorenson is a Decorah native.

Located at the southeast corner of the intersection of Highways 9 and 52, the Fairfield Inn & Suites Decorah is a Marriott franchise, owned by Decorah Hotel Partners and managed by Rebound Hospitality of Northfield, Minnesota, which also owns the Hotel Winneshiek.
