Ground breaking ceremony held for Nabotunet development near Vennehjem

A ground breaking ceremony has been held for the new Nabotunet patio homes development adjacent to Vennehjem in Decorah.

The project is a new venture for Aase Haugen Senior Services. The development will offer three homes styles, ranging from a one-level home of just under 2,000 square feet to a two-level home with 3,800 square feet.  Homes will offer full groundskeeping services, structural and utilities maintenance, and major appliances maintenance.

Site work will begin within the week.

Aase Haugen Senior Services Executive Director Jeffrey Schmidt also announced the street serving the development will be called "Glen Barth Court," in honor of the late Aase Haugen Board member, Glen Barth.
