Winneshiek County Public Health is accepting walk-ins for flu shots

Winneshiek County Public Health is now accepting walk-ins for flu injection at the Winneshiek County Public Health office at 305 Montgomery Street in Decorah.  No appointments are necessary.
 
The shots will be given from 8:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. weekdays.  The vaccine costs $30 and is available for everyone ages 6 months old and older. There is no flu mist available this year. It is recommended to receive your vaccine by the end of October. It takes two weeks to be fully covered against the influenza with the vaccination.
