Decorah woman shows off her baking talents for Iowa Public TV

A Decorah resident, Kathy Buzza, has taken part in Iowa Public Television's "The Great British Baking Show: Iowa Edition" competition.

Buzza submitted her "Apricot White Chocolate Walnut Scones" recipe and photo to the competition.  She was picked as one of three finalists for "Iowa's Great British Baking Show" in August. Three judges tasted and viewed the product and listened to the finalists talk about the product and the history behind the recipe.

Hundreds of people attended the competition and were treated to samples of the finalists' baked goods. "The Great British Baking Show" is a BBC original airing in the U.S. on PBS and Netflix.
