Crosswalks near Luther College will be repainted

The Decorah City Street Department will be repainting the crosswalks on College Drive near Luther College.

The project is coming about because of safety concerns by students and others on campus.  The repainting is designed to give better visibility to the crosswalks on College Drive.

City officials also hope to be meeting in the future with Luther College and Decorah School District officials for a more comprehensive look at crosswalks within the city limits.
