Pop musician Ben Rector will take the stage at Luther College at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 7th, in the Center for Faith and Life Main Hall. Doors will open at 6:45 p.m.

Rector has sold more than 250,000 albums and has more than 2 million downloads. His latest album "Brand New" was released in 2015 by Aptly Named Recordings. The album reflects on Rector's youth when he was an Oklahoma teenager playing guitar in his bedroom. It debuted at No. 9 on the "Billboard 200" Chart, selling 26,000 units and making it his first top-10 album.
It held the No. 2 spot on the "Billboard" Top Current Rock Albums chart, No. 2 on the "Billboard" Album Core Genre Rock chart and No. 1 on the "Billboard" Top Folk Albums chart. His single "Brand New" was featured on NBC's Today show hosted by Kathy Lee Gifford and Hoda Kotb and was used by Olympic Gold Medal Gymnast Laurie Hernandez during her performance on "Dancing with the Stars."
