Decorah insurance agent named "Agent of the Year"

Decorah insurance agent Brian Petersburg of the A & J/Petersburg Agency has been presented the H.H. "Red" Nelson Agent of the Year Award for 2017.

The award by the Independent Insurance Agents of Iowa is given annually to one of the over 12,000 licensed insurance agents represented by IIAI.  The Independent Insurance Agents of Iowa is a trade industry group of agents who represent multiple companies selling auto, home, farm, business, trucking, life and health insurance.

Petersburg was selected for his work in the insurance industry and for his community service.
