Two-vehicle accident on Highway 9 causes $12,000 in damages

Decorah Police say a Luana man caused a two-vehicle accident on Highway 9 just past the Highway 52 intersection construction zone shortly before 1:00 Monday afternoon.

Police say 38-year-old Lahuro Orosco-Rodriguez changed lanes in front of a truck driven by 33-year-old Dexter Quandahl of Decorah and Quandahl was unable to keep from hitting Orosco-Rodriguez.  Both vehicles had $6,000 in damages.  Neither driver was injured.  Orosco-Rodriguez was not ticketed.
