Nordic Fest Board is discussing adding new food vendors to next year's Fest

Members of the Nordic Fest Board of Directors are looking back to review the 2017 Nordic Fest and looking ahead to figure out what additions to make to next year's Fest.

Much of the conversations involve food booths.  The aim is to get more traffic on the far west and east ends of Water Street--and adding new food booths is seen as a good way to do that. 

One possibility is moving the Scandinavian waffle booth onto Water Street instead of having it on a side street.  The waffle booth was a big hit at this year's Fest.  Another possibility is to find a group to serve aebleskivers--which would resume a booth featured a few years ago.

One factor being taken into consideration by board members is the fact that a couple of existing food booth operators have begun discussing--but have NOT yet decided--whether to discontinue operating their food booths.  That makes finding new food booth operators even more important.
