Larry Reis receives the Outstanding Partner Award from Northeast Iowa RC&D Director Lora Friest

Winneshiek County Conservation naturalist and natural resource manager Larry Reis has been recognized by Northeast Iowa Resource Conservation and Development for his dedication to natural resource interpretation, education, and photography.

The "Outstanding Partner Award" from Northeast Iowa RC&D recognizes an individual or organization that demonstrates exceptional commitment to working cooperatively to promote and protect natural resources. Reis is the fourth recipient in the 20-year history of the award.

Over his career, Reis has presented more than 8,000 educational programs, reaching over 200,000 people. Since 2014, Reis has maintained an extensive Flickr photography account documenting wildlife, seasonal changes, and natural resources in Winneshiek County and northeast Iowa.
