Nordic Fest Board announces 2018 theme and date for 2017 wrap-up meeting

The theme of the 2018 Nordic Fest will be: "You had me at lefse."

Voting on a 2018 theme took place at the Decorah Area Chamber of Commerce office during the 2017 Nordic Fest.  Nordic Fest board members say "You had me at lefse" was "the clear winner."

Meanwhile, the date for the annual Nordic Fest community meeting has been scheduled for Monday, September 11th, at 6:00 p.m. in the Gathering Room at Vesterheim's Amdal-Odland Heritage Center at 523 West Water Street in Decorah.  The meeting is a time for the community to voice their opinion on how the 2017 fest was handled, give suggestions for next year's fest.
