Decorah receives a grant for new boulevard trees

Alliant Energy and Trees Forever are announcing a grant to the City of Decorah to help pay for replanting trees. The $4,000 grant will pay for new boulevard trees in parts of the city hit hard by storms or by the Emerald Ash Borer.

The grant to Decorah was one of 31 grants totaling more than $127,000 announced to communities within Alliant's service area.
