Decorah girl receives American Legion Auxiliary award

A Decorah girl has received the American Legion Auxiliary Junior Member of the year Award
 
Abby Brauer received the award for being active in Bernatz Symonds American Legion Auxiliary # 163.  She also is serving as Sergeant at Arms for the District Junior American Legion Auxiliary and she served as Flag bearer for Memorial Flags at the State Legion Convention.

Each year junior members are nominated in recognition of their dedicated service to local unit, district and department.
