Ask Mr. Answer Person: "Why aren't there sidewalks in front of the condos on Water Street?"

Gary e-mails: "Dear Mr. Answer Person: If we are mandating sidewalks in town, why did the new condos where Wapsi Produce was  not have to put them in?  They are on the main street in town.  They only put them to the mail boxes."
 
Mr. Answer Person says: "You are right that at this point there are sidewalks only in the middle part of the condo development, but not to the sidewalk to the west on Water Street.  However, City Administrator Chad Bird says, 'They will be installing sidewalks per their site plan agreement, to the ends of their property.'  City officials say sidewalks have been a required part of site plans for several years."
