Two-vehicle accident results in $4,000 in damages

The Decorah Police Department reports two vehicles were involved a traffic accident at 2:11 p.m. Wednesday.

71-year-old Diane Johnson of Decorah was backing out of her parking space in the Mediacom parking lot on Railroad Avenue when 44-year-old Ky Godden of Decorah was pulling into the lot. The front end of Johnson's 2008 Chrysler 300 made contact with the mid section of Godden's 2007 Pontiac Grand Prix. Both vehicles sustained $2,000 in damages. No injuries were reported.
