Quilts of Valor recipients now number 33

33 Winneshiek County veterans now have new Quilts of Valor after being presented the quilts by the Decorah Quilts of Valor Chapter #541.
 
The majority of the funding for the quilts came from grants received from The Depot Outlet and the Winneshiek County Community Foundation.  The Quilts of Valor Foundation is a non-profit organization established and operated in accordance with Section 501(c)3 of the Internal Revenue Code.

The mission of the Quilts of Valor Foundation is to cover service members and veterans "touched by war" with comforting and healing Quilts of Valor.   To nominate a veteran, contact Joni Johnson, P.O. Box 30, Decorah, IA 52101, with the Veteran's name and contact phone number.
