Accident Sunday night sends West Union woman to the hospital

An accident on County Road W42 and 105th Street shortly before 7:00 Sunday night injured a West Union woman.

84-year-old Theresa Moellers was southbound on County Road W42, approaching the turn at 105th Street, when she failed to negotiate the turn, left the roadway and went airborne. Moellers came to rest in the ditch and struck a tree.

Moellers was taken by the Ossian Ambulance to Palmer Hospital in West Union. The accident caused $8,000 in damages.
