The 100+ Women Who Care - Oneota Valley Chapter has presented a check for $8,800 to Helping Services for Youth & Families' Domestic Violence program.
Helping Services for Youth & Families Executive Director Carson Eggland said the money will be used to pay for advocacy services offered to victims of domestic violence in northeast Iowa. Said Eggland, "It is not very often that a gift of this magnitude comes through the door."

100+ Women Who Care - Oneota Valley Chapter is part of the national 100 Who Care organization that has over 4,000 chapters throughout the world. The goal is to bring 100+ members together four times per year for one hour to raise money for local nonprofits.
