Accident causes $6500 in damages

A Waukon woman escaped injury when her truck left Old Stage Road around 8:00 Tuesday morning.

The Winneshiek County Sheriff's Office says 38-year-old Irene King-Holthaus was driving west on Old Stage Road when she lost control, went into the ditch, struck a rock wall and flipped. The vehicle landed on its roof.

King-Holthaus did not require an ambulance. She was ticketed for failure to maintain control.
