Two Decorah educators receive Master of Arts in Education

Two Decorah teachers have received Master of Arts in Education degrees from Viterbo University in La Crosse.

Gina Holthaus and Sarah Nowack took part in Viterbo's 2017 Summer Commencement earlier this month. Holthaus is a Decorah native who teaches physical education at Decorah elementary schools and a health class at Decorah High School. Nowack is a Fort Atkinson native who teaches 5th grade students at Decorah Middle School.

Viterbo's education programs are approved by the Iowa Department of Education. The school has conferred over 7,000 Master of Arts in Education degrees, first offering the degree in 1990.
