Being drunk (allegedly) at McDonald's leads to OWI charge

A Cresco man has been charged with First Offense Operating While Intoxicated.

Decorah Police say they were called to the Mc Donald's in Centrum Plaza around 11:15 Saturday night when staff at the restaurant noticed a vehicle with intoxicated occupants and open alcohol containers. An officer stopped the vehicle nearby and charged 26-year-old Travis Gage of Cresco with drunk driving.
