Strong winds cause damage throughout Winneshiek County

These photos from Winneshiek County Emergency Management show the storm damage on 295th Avenue

(8:45PM Wednesday)--

Winds as strong as 70 miles an hour passed through Winneshiek county around 6:00 Wednesday evening, leaving a trail of destruction in their wake.

Damage was greatest in Castalia and Ossian. Roofs were ripped off by the strong winds and trees toppled.
