As decorahnews.com reported last month (http://www.decorahnews.com/archived-stories/2017/06/16894.html) the new water slide at the Decorah Swimming Pool--which cost just over $300,000--has been popular this summer, but Decorah Park-Rec Board members realize more improvements are needed at the pool.
At 7:00 p.m. Thursday at City Hall, they'll get their chance to review possible swimming pool improvements and set some priorities.
The list of possible projects includes the pool's water heater, which is old and needs frequent repairs, two roofs at the pool building that need repairs to fix leaks and a new toddler slide that has not yet been installed.
Board members will also contribute their own suggestions, then try to match the priorities of projects with the funding available over the next year or two.
