Decorah Police Department reports multiple arrests

The Decorah Police Department reports making two drug arrests and one OWI arrest.

22-year-old James Bachmurski of Edgewood and 19-year-old Bryan Bachmurski of Decorah were stopped for a traffic infraction on Trout Run Road at Stone Hill Road at 1:50 a.m. on Saturday. During the traffic stop, the officer, assisted by Winneshiek County deputies, located marijuana and drug paraphernalia within the vehicle. Both men were arrested and charged with Possession with Intent to Deliver a Controlled Substance, Failure to Affix a Drug Tax Stamp, Possession of a Controlled Substance, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

28-year-old Leynel Mora of Decorah was stopped in the south alley in the 700 block of East Main Street at 2:00 a.m. on Thursday. Mora was arrested and charged with Operating While Intoxicated, First Offense.
