Veterans Affairs raising money for Vietnam commemorative book to be given to veterans

The Iowa Department of Veterans Affairs is trying to raise additional funds for the Vietnam 50th Commemorative book project, which would provide a book to all Vietnam Veterans in Iowa.

The first distribution of books will go to "in country or boots on the ground" Vietnam Veterans and survivors of deceased "in country or boots on the ground" Vietnam Veterans.

A second distribution of books will be sent to all other Era Vietnam Veterans in Iowa.   However, the IDVA currently does not have enough funds to cover those costs.

If any organizations/individuals would like to donate towards the project, make check payable to Iowa Department of Veteran Affairs.
