NEICAC's Humpal announces retirement plans

Northeast Iowa Community Action Corporation Executive Director Mary Ann Humpal has announced she will be retiring in December.

Humpal has worked for NEICAC since August of 1972 and has been the Executive Director since June of 1989.  She will retire December 21st, meaning she will have served the residents of northeast Iowa for 45 years and four months.
 
NEICAC Board Chairman Les Askelson says Humpal's dedication and leadership established NEICAC as one of the top Community Action Agencies not only in Iowa but in the nation.   Askelson says the NEICAC board of directors will be working with the Iowa Community Action Association in the search for a new Executive Director. 

A retirement reception for Humpal is planned for December.
