Three Winneshiek County students attend Y Camp

The Winneshiek County Sheriff's Office and Iowa Sheriff's and Deputies' Association sponsored three students from Winneshiek County to participate in Y Camp near Boone, Iowa.

Y Camp is a week long summer camp full of transformative experiences for all campers. The kids participated in traditional camp activities, such as canoeing, archery, horseback riding, hiking, and much more. The campers that attended made many new friends, grew in their understanding of respect, responsibility, caring, and honesty, and gained confidence in themselves.
