Sheriff's deputies arrest three people in separate incidents

Winneshiek County Sheriff's Deputies made three separate arrests over the weekend.

Friday afternoon around 1:15 p.m. in Calmar, 66-year-old John Barnett of Birmingham, Iowa was arrested for Carrying Weapons and Operating While Under the Influence and booked into the Winneshiek County Jail.

Saturday night at 10:30, 52-year-old Steven Burrows of Sumner was stopped on Highway 24 near Jackson Junction, arrested for Operating While Under the Influence and booked into the Winneshiek County Jail.

Saturday night at 11:30, 32-year-old Ashley Johnson of Calmar was stopped on Highway 24 near Jackson Junction, arrested for driving on a revoked license and booked into the Winneshiek County Jail.
