Ask Mr. Answer Person: Bike rack updates

Last week Mr. Answer Person responded to a question about buying curb stops to protect the two large bike racks in downtown Decorah.

Former Decorah resident Mike Dahly sends this photo of an inexpensive bike rack in use in Denver, Colorado.

Also, Mr. Answer Person has learned curb stops would be necessary on just one side of the downtown bike racks.  That means it would cost $210--not $420--to install curb stops in downtown Decorah.
