Cedar Falls resident rescued from the Upper Iowa River

The Winneshiek County Sheriff's Office says it received a report Saturday night around 9:30 of a man missing while tubing on the Upper Iowa River near Kendallville. 

The missing tuber was24-year-old Travis Zika of Cedar Falls.  Winneshiek County deputies responded to the area.  Howard County deputies, Cresco Fire, Howard County Ambulance, Decorah Fire and the Iowa State Patrol also responded to assist with the search. 

At approximately 11:30 pm Zika was located by Cresco Fire personnel along the bank of the river near Kendallville.  Zika was not injured and was reunited with his family.
