Planning & Zoning Commission meeting has been rescheduled to June 26th

Monday's scheduled meeting of the Decorah Planning & Zoning Commission could not be held because not enough Commission members could attend.

But a five-minute meeting on Wednesday night approved creating a new official notice for a public hearing at 7:10 p.m. June 26th on Aase Haugen's plans to create a new housing project on property near Vennehjem.

June 26th's meeting will also discuss whether the city's property tax abatement program ought to be renewed.  There will also be a discussion about the regulation of local homes that are registered on AirbNb or VRBO.
