Casey's General Store on College Drive plans to be back in business in late fall

Crews are working on building a new Casey's General Store on College Drive.
 
The former building has been removed and the lot is ready for the new construction, which is set to begin this summer.
 
Three gas pumps with a canopy will remain in place--the biggest change will be the store itself.
 
The former building was approximately 2,000 square feet. The new building will be 3,300 square feet, will offer more groceries and more prepared food, including made-to-order sub sandwiches.
 
The plan is to have the new store completed by October or November of this year, before the holiday season, according to Casey's officials.
