Decorah Police: missing kayak has been returned to its owner

Decorah Police say a missing kayak has been returned to its owner.

Police say a black kayak fell off a trailer on the Bluffton Road around 5:00 p.m. Sunday.  When the owner noticed he was missing a kayak, he pulled over.  A car pulled up behind him and said the kayak fell off the trailer and was on the shoulder of the road. The owner turned the vehicle around to retrieve the kayak, but the kayak was missing.  Police say the black fishing kayak was manufactured by Ascend.

Police now say the kayak has been returned to its owner.
