Decorah FFA team finishes 7th at State Agronomy Contest

Decorah FFA members Anna Hanson, Hailey Nierling, Daniel Schwartzhoff and Stacia Sexton have finished 7th as a team at the State FFA Agronomy Contest. 31 teams competed. Hanson also earned honors in the individual contest by finishing 10th.

The students evaluated various crop production aspects, including hay quality, silage samples, seed quality, and corn and soybean marketing. The students also took a 50-question multiple choice exam covering agronomic practices.
