Luther College Center Stage Series is celebrating its 40th anniversary.
The 2017-2018 program will have nine Center Stage Series performances, two school matinee performances and the college's continuing commemoration of the 500th anniversary of the Reformation.
Performances are being held:
--The Spanish Brass on September 16th
--Flip FabriQue, a mix of theatre and acrobatics on September 30th
--American Rhapsody: The Gershwin Songbook on October 20th
--Clarinetist-saxophonist Anat Cohen on November 4th
--The St. Thomas Boys Choir on November 18th as part of the commemoration of the 500th anniversary of the Reformation
--"Songbook" with Steven Page of the Barenaked Ladies on February 17th
--Lamajamal with danceable, heavily percussive music on February 24th
--Evidence, which blends traditional African dance with contemporary choreography on March 17th
--L.A. Theatre Works' radio-style theatre production "The Mountaintop," about ML King Jr. on April 6th
