Cresco man arrested on a burglary charge

The Winneshiek County Sheriff's Office says deputies arrested a Cresco man Wednesday afternoon on a burglary charge.

36-year-old Joseph Hinck faces a felony charge of Third Degree Burglary.  His arrest came as part of an ongoing investigation the Winneshiek County Sheriff's Office has carried out.  Two search warrants were served by Howard County Sheriff's Deputies at two different homes in Cresco.  Hinck was arrested on an arrest warrant and taken to the Winneshiek County Jail. 

The Winneshiek county Sheriff's Office says the case remains under investigation.

The Howard County Sheriff's Office, the Cresco Police Department and the Winneshiek County Attorney's Office assisted with the warrants.
