Quilts of Valor program awards nine more quilts

The Winneshiek County Quilts of Valor program has awarded quilts to nine more veterans.

The Quilts of Valor Foundation is a non-profit organization established and operated in accordance with Section 501(c)3 of the Internal Revenue Code.  The mission of the Quilts of Valor Foundation is to cover service members and veterans touched by war with comforting and healing Quilts of Valor.   

Receiving quilts were Jim Gilbert, Frank Graves, Joe Henry, Conrad Kriener, John Mashek, James A. Meyer, Randy Poshusta, Alvin Shindelar and Curt Vick.
