Winneshiek County Habitat for Humanity taking applications for "A Brush with Kindness"

Winneshiek County Habitat For Humanity is best known for building new houses for eligible homeowners. But this summer Habitat volunteers also will do two or three maintenance projects as part of its "A Brush with Kindness" program for eligible homeowners.

Typical projects include safety and accessibility modifications such as ramps and grab bars or carpentry repairs for repair and maintenance of the homeowner's home.
